Why “human person”? This gets complicated. When the U.S. Naval Academy was told by the courts that they could no longer compel students to attend Chapel services, they decided that Midshipmen need some type of moral and ethical education. During my time at the Boat School, this course was called The Professional Officer and the Human Person. Of course, being college boys we had to make fun of that. I mean, have you ever met a non-human person? I know, we all have probably known a few inhuman people, but they were still human! So this is my catch-all category, where anything else not otherwise categorized goes. Stuff from my youth and so on.
