To D.C. and Back
Well, I went to Washington D.C. this past weekend with the Naperville Men's Glee Club. All in all we did well, and it was a real treat for everyone to sing at the National Cathedral (it was my third time singing there, but still a thrill) and the Viet Nam Veteran's Memorial. Took along the whole family except my eldest, who had Homecoming at his high school. We stayed with old friends who live in way-too-cramped government housing on Bolling Air Force Base and had a nice (although busy) visit. We even got up for a brief visit to my Alma Mater. Now it's back to work and more regular blogging.
